Quiet Leadership

When talking about personalities Introverts are considered antisocial and quiet people who don’t like to talk. So, are they really can be a leader ?. The answer is yes. They can.

Introverts aren't anti-social and they are like to talk. They only need alone time to recharge their energy because introverts are drain energy with social interaction. Introversion is a gift when you accept your true nature and honor yourself. If you are an Introvert like me don’t ever think being an Introvert is something that you need to be cured.

“Figure out what you are meant to contribute to the world and make sure you contribute it. If this requires public speaking or networking or other activities that make you uncomfortable do them anyway. But accept that they’re difficult. get the training you need to make them easier, and reward yourself when you’re done”

Susan Cain. author of Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking

Throughout the history and present, many great leaders are introverts. Abraham Lincon, Eleanor Roosevelt, Albert Einstein, Rosa Parks, Mahatma Gandhi. In the business world Bill Gates, Elone Mask,M.Zuckerberg and so on.All Introverts, but great leaders.

Matter of fact, Why Introverts make great leaders. Introverts tend to be analytical. By nature, they are calm and collected, good decision-makers. great listeners and tend to be creative. They are focusing on the depth of the situation, not superficiality. Embrace solitude resists self-defeating impulses. like Albert Einstein once said,

“It’s not that I’m so smart, It’s that I stay with problems longer”.

Introversion is not a choice. If you’re one of them believe yourself. Look for the opportunities, platforms where you can put yourself forward. share your knowledge and views. That may involve writing a weekly blog post or making a YouTube channel that can reaches out worldwide. Take opportunity of public speaking. Some of the best  public speakers of the past and present are introverts leaders – Mahatma Ghandi, Winston Churchill, President Barack Obama to name a few.  If you’re afraid of public speaking or networking, then you should join Toastmasters and learn to become more comfortable with it.
